Watching last night’s debate, the candidates’ very different communication styles illuminated the importance of creating trust with key stakeholders. This leads to brand affinity, loyalty, engagement and sales.

Here are 5 tips to building brand trust:
🤝Create engaging content that is useful and educational so it consistently draws people in. Address your stakeholder’s “pain points” which demonstrates how well you understand their needs.
🤝Consider your website like a welcome mat. Highlight how you help to solve problems so people will get what you do and how it can help them.
🤝Show your humanity by expressing empathy/concern- about the things they care about. Be transparent especially in light of industry crises and/or controversy.
🤝Exceed expectations by consistently posting content for blogs, video or podcasts. Once people notice, they will expect to come to you for news and information.
🤝Increase online reviews/testimonials on your site, social media platforms and industry directories. What others say about you/your brand will affect your bottom line.
